'Not at all': Bumrah denies India planned to boost NRR vs Afghanistan

India's eight-wicket victory over Afghanistan was not a deliberate plan to boost their net run-rate in the World Cup group stage. India captain Rohit Sharma scored 131 off 84 balls, helping the hosts chase a 273-run victory target in 35 overs. India is the third team to win their first two games and is currently ranked between New Zealand and Pakistan at the top of the standings. Bumrah denied that net run-rate affected India's performance against Afghanistan.
