England survived a major scare as Harry Kane’s late brace secured a 2-1 comeback win over DR Congo in the FIFA World Cup 2026 Round of 32. Brian Cipenga’s early goal put the underdogs ahead before England struggled for control. Kane struck twice in the final 15 minutes to rescue Thomas Tuchel’s side and set up a Round of 16 clash with Mexico.
