Cucurella fulfils bizarre promise by permanently tattooing De la Fuente’s face on his arm

Spain defender Marc Cucurella has fulfilled his unusual World Cup promise by getting a tattoo of manager Luis de la Fuente after La Roja’s 2026 triumph. The Real Madrid-bound left-back revealed the tribute nine days after Spain defeated Argentina, with the tattoo showing De la Fuente holding the trophy. Cucurella previously made a similar promise after Spain’s Euro 2024 victory.
